ラオス奥地の村の、各家庭の小規模な庭で栽培した綿を紡ぎ、草木染めを施し手織りして生地にし、端のフリンジも手で結んで製作した完全に人力によるクロス。赤色はカン（カイガラ虫の分泌液）で染められています。毎朝7時から夜6時まで作業をしても、1人5枚ほどしか作れません。ところどころに黒い付着物や黄ばみがありますが、こちらは綿花の種から生じしたもの。使い込むほどに風合いが増し、極上の柔らかさになります。
Handspun, natural dyed and handwoven cotton cloth made at a small village in Laos. The cottons were picked at their home gardens. Red colors are dyed with secretion of lac insects. Working from 7AM to 6PM, they can only make 5pcs per person. There are few black dots and yellow stains which comes from the cotton seeds. They become heavenly soft as you use them.
